About Me

My name is Jesse Grisham and I am a graphic designer. I am a graduate of Murray State University where I recieved a Bachelor's degree in Graphic Communications Management and focused my studies on graphic design. I have experience with Print Design and printing, having worked in a large printing plant, a mid-size screen printing company, and studied printing along with design. These experiences have helped to shape the way I view design. I pride myself on seeing the limitations and freedoms afforded by design decisions before they cost you money.

I place a strong emphasis on using type cleanly and love to use type in some unorthodox ways. I also draw heavily from the influence of early swiss design and the designs of Joseph Muller Brockmann and Armin Hoffman in particular. Several other graphic designers such as David Carson, Michael Schwab, and Matteo Bologna have influenced me over the years. Graphic Design is not just a job to me, it is something I very much enjoy doing. You can rest assured that I will do everything I can to help you accomplish your goals.

Outside of graphic design, I perform with my band Reset Red as the lead singer and guitarist. I also enjoy working out and playing sports. I like to name things intuitively, like Jesse Grisham Design. I bet you didn't see that one coming. I think Gotham is a boon from heaven and Comic Sans is it's opposite equal. I really don't care for pancakes that much, but I love coconut. I would say that I am a lighthearted and jovial fellow. This was all perhaps too much information.
